Zouridi Villa Park - Zouridi, Rethymnon
Zouridi Villa Park || Suites: 3 || Total capacity: 14
In 1900, our grandfather laid the first foundations of the mansion. The building housed his family, his animals and his crops, which were protected in the 20 large earthenware pots that still decorate the hotel today. The current owners, Giannis and Despina have transformed it into an opulent hotel, taking care to maintain and take advantage of its captivating beauty and bracing magnetism.
The restoration of the building was made with natural limestone sourced entirely from the local area. This is used on all surfaces in the hotel, both visible and concealed, even in the coping around the swimming pool. Volcanic earth from the island of Santorini was used back then, as it is today, for grouting and coatings; replacing cement to create an ecological dwelling: warm in winter and cool in summer!
The result is a modern, well equipped, and traditionally decorated hotel, which is a welcoming haven for visitors and holidaymakers. The Spandidaki family, who is committed to impeccable service and guest satisfaction, closely follows the tradition of island hospitality, offering top quality service with devotion to its guests.
