For visitors to Crete that wish a holiday completely away from other tourists, that like walking trips, culture and cooking and of course eating all this, we offer the house of Kostas and Dimitra in Pikri.

Here we find a village hidden in a beautiful gorge, with a history going back to the Venetian period in Crete. (13th till 17th century).

The house offers a living room, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and 3 double bedrooms with a communal terrace.

In the restaurant from the family you can get breakfast, lunch or dinner. You may also help to prepare it, so you’ll will learn about the Cretan kitchen.

Like we mentioned in out start, the area is superb for walking. There are several routes for easy walking and Kostas will be happy to explain them and to assist you with transportation when needed. For your transport to Rethymno at 11 km or around the island a rental car is needed.

For absolute peace full holidays you can choose this house all year, in the winter heating is provided and included in the price.
