Roumeli is a traditional Greek rural working village with olive and orange groves in all views. It has chuches, tavernas, cafenians and 2 local supermarkets. There are many local places to walk to enjoy the fantastic scenery. Panorma fishing village is a 30 mins walk through flat olives groves.

A car is recommended but there are good local bus routes from the National Road to shopping areas of Platanas, Rethymnon and Herkalion. There are many wonderful peaceful beaches located along the north coast.

Perama town is 2 mins. drive from Roumeli and has a good selection of all supermarkets and an excellent range of all shops, pharamcies and post offices. Perama clinic provides excellent local health care, so does the local dentist.

Broadband connection is available in Roumeli and the phone connection is present in this villa if the renter wishes to install the service.

The owners of this property live closeby and maintain the property, private pool and gardens on a regular basis.
