Winter Holiday in a Cretan Hotel - Lassithi Region

For short term holidays to Crete we can make hotel or apartment reservations anywhere on the island. We know the places that we offer so that’s a guarantee that the facilities that we offer are there and that there will be no surprises on your arrival. We can also arrange you a taxi or rent a car at the airport of arrival. You can drive yourself to your chosen accommodation or we arrange the driver to bring you to your hotel or apartment .  In the latter case an additional cost will be added depending on the destination.

East Crete

On the east coast of Crete we are also at home and our choice there is in the 5th city of our island which is Sitia. The reason of our choice is that its a nice place where all year is something is going on. There are plenty of interesting places for a visit, like the palm beach of Vai or the gorge of the butterflies at Zakros. The monastery Toplou, the city Ierapetra, the Lassithi plain and much more. Good public transport is available and off course taxis.

• Itanos Hotel - Sitia Crete
  This family hotel, fully renovated in 1998, is situated on the most advantageous location by the central park square on the waterfront of the picturesque town of Sitia in east part of Crete.

• Hotel Rea - Agios Nikolaos
  A cosy City on the east - Agios Nikolaos is the Capital of the Lassithi prefecture. It’s situated East of our island and a fairly new city. Before 120 years it was just a couple of houses and off course a Church with the name……..Agios Nicolaos ( Saint Nicolas, patron saint of all sailors)
  Today it’s a modern city and a meeting point for locals and tourists. It has a beautiful internal lake where the bars and restaurants form a nice circle with a car free boulevard.
  Close by are interesting places for a visit, like the island of Spinalonga, until 1957 the Lepra island from Crete. In Kritsa we find the ancient chapel of Panagia ( Holy Mary) and off course you can drive up to the Lassithi plateau, with the Dikti caves where according to the Mythology the great God Zeus was born.
  
  In the city we find the very hospitable Hotel Rea. The Hotel offer a very friendly service all year and a unique view on the harbour.

  The Family rooms are on the higher floor of the hotel with unique view to the Mirabello gulf and the harbour of Agios Nikolaos.
  They have two separate rooms, Living room and bed room, are nicely decorated and all of them have bathroom, telephone with direct external line and private number, balcony, Air-condition, TV with Satellite and National channels, High speed Internet connection, and hair dryer in the bathroom.
