Winter in Crete - Drive & Accommodation Package

The winter is the ideal period for making trips with a car around the island. We have designed several routes around Crete in which you will visit under your own steam and speed the interesting places on our island. Crete is full with ancient archaeological sites, old orthodox monasteries, traditional villages, old beautiful cities, amazing caves and last but not least, beautiful nature and its interesting wildlife.

The country side is never so full of colours as in the period from November until April.

Botanist consider Crete famous for its variety of flowers and trees. Lying on the edges of Africa and the Middle East we find here the natural beauties from 3 continents. (read also more in our walking pages)

In our routes we describe the roads you will pass and the interesting places situated in that area. We have selected the hotels that will have a room ready after a long day of driving and if you consider to stay there more than 1 night than just ask us and we will book it.

But you may also leave the next morning to continue your drive around the island; after of course a good Cretan breakfast.

The hotels that we select are in the bigger cities from Crete, since the more touristic villages are not places where you find easily rooms or a taverna for a dinner

Therefore our drive and hotel programme is flexible and can be tailor made for our clients - we just need the day of arrival and the day of departure.

The cars on offer are of the "medium" category like Volkswagen POLO, Toyota Yariss or Ayco but on request we can offer a bigger car or a 4 wheel drive Jeep. We also have spacious mini busses.
